What is The Tasting Room?
The Tasting Room is Saicho’s community of celebration, a space to explore, connect, and share in the stories behind every bottle. Members receive early access to new releases, curated experiences, and thoughtful moments that bring Saicho’s world to life.
Why did Saicho create The Tasting Room?
To bring people closer to the craft, culture, and connection that define Saicho. The Tasting Room exists to celebrate the ones who appreciate the art of flavour and the beauty of shared moments.
What can I expect as a member?
Members receive early access to new and seasonal releases, invitations to exclusive tastings and events, and curated content that explores the stories, pairings, and artistry behind Saicho. From time to time, we’ll also share small gestures of appreciation along the way.
How do I become a member?
Your first purchase unlocks access to The Tasting Room. To receive updates about your points and member privileges, you’ll need to consent to marketing emails. This ensures you never miss a reward or experience.
Do I need to make purchases to stay a member?
No, once you’ve joined The Tasting Room with your first purchase, your membership remains active. There’s no need to maintain a minimum spend to stay part of the community. However, your points are valid for 12 months from the date of last activity. This keeps your experience fresh and ensures rewards reflect your most recent moments with Saicho.
How do I earn points?
Every purchase you make with Saicho earns points automatically. You’ll also collect points through moments of connection: following us on Instagram, subscribing to our newsletter, celebrating your birthday, or engaging with Saicho in other meaningful ways. Each interaction is designed to reward connection, not just transaction.
How do I redeem my points?
Points can be redeemed in the Saicho store, with each point worth £2. Choose to spend them on your favourite bottles, special releases, or curated gifts. A simple way to turn your loyalty into another moment of celebration.
Do my loyalty points expire?
Points are valid for 12 months from the date they’re earned. Each set of points expires independently based on when they were added to your account.
For example:
You make a purchase on 20 January and earn points. You make another purchase on 12 February and earn more points.
If the points from 20 January are not used within 12 months, they will expire, while the points from 12 February are still valid. The February points will remain available until their own 12-month expiry date.
You’ll receive a reminder before any points are due to expire. We want every moment of your membership to feel rewarding, never rushed.
How do I check my Points balance?
Log in to your Saicho account at any time to view your balance, tier status, and upcoming rewards. It’s the easiest way to see how your journey through The Tasting Room is unfolding.
Is The Tasting Room available internationally?
The Tasting Room is currently available in the UK and Hong Kong only, with each region offering its own points and experiences. Please note that points earned in one market cannot be transferred or redeemed in the other.
Will there be events or tastings?
Yes. Members will receive invitations to private tastings, chef collaborations, and seasonal celebrations with our partners. Make sure you subscribe to our newsletter for all news and updates.
How will I hear about upcoming events?
All invitations and updates will be shared directly via email. Make sure you’re subscribed so you can receive everything The Tasting Room has to offer.
Can I bring a guest to an event?
Many of our experiences are designed to be shared. Each invitation will include details on availability and guest options.
Can I update my information or preferences?
Yes. You can update your contact details, preferences and communication settings at any time through your Saicho account. If you need any assistance, our team is always happy to help at hello@saichodrinks.com
What happens to my tier status if I cancel or refund an order?
If an order is cancelled or refunded, it won’t earn points and won’t count toward your tier progress. If that order would have moved you into a new tier, your tier status may be adjusted to reflect the updated total.
Your current tier will always be based on your valid, completed purchases.
Can I leave The Tasting Room?
Of course. Although we would be sad to see you go, you can unsubscribe at any time, and your membership will end automatically.

I didn’t receive my birthday points. What should I do?
First, please check that your birthday has been added to your account. You can do this by logging in, visiting the Loyalty section, and scrolling to Earn Points, where you’ll find the option to add your birthday under ‘On your birthday’. Once your birthday is saved, your birthday points will be added automatically on the day and will be valid for 12 months.
If you’ve added your birthday and still haven’t received your points, please contact our team at hello@saichodrinks.com, and we’ll be happy to help.
I didn’t receive my points after placing my order. What should I do?
If your points haven’t appeared after placing an order, please get in touch with our team at hello@saichodrinks.com and include your order number. We’ll be happy to look into it for you and add the points to your account once the order has been confirmed as completed.
What happens to my points if I cancel my order or if my order is refunded?
If an order is cancelled or refunded, points will not be awarded for that purchase. If points were already added, they will be removed once the refund is processed.
If I refer someone, when do I get the points?
You’ll receive your points once the person you referred completes their purchase. We’ll notify you each time points are added to your account.
Is there a limit to how many people I can refer?
There’s no limit, you are welcome to share your referral link with as many people as you like!
I want to use my points to reduce the delivery fee.
You can use your points to reduce the total value of your order. However, please note that free shipping is applied only to orders of £50 or more, before any points are redeemed.
If your order total falls below £50 after applying points, standard delivery charges will apply.

I didn’t sign in to place my order. How can I get these points added to my account?
Your points are added automatically, even if you checked out as a guest. When you sign in or create an account using the same email address, your points will be waiting for you, ready to use on your next order.
How do I receive updates about The Tasting Room and my activity?
To receive updates about The Tasting Room, including your points balance, rewards, and account activity, you’ll need to be opted in to Saicho’s email communications. You can sign up or update your preferences in any of the following ways:
- At checkout, by selecting the option to receive Saicho updates
- By logging into your Saicho account and choosing “Sign up to newsletter” under the Earn Points section
